What Our Community Is Saying
Words from the Hive
At Valhalla Bee Farm, our customers are more than just visitors—they are part of our extended community. From beekeepers starting their very first hive to families who have enjoyed our honey for generations, here is what our neighbors across the Midwest have to say about the quality and care they’ve found with Valhalla.
For The Honey Lovers
“The only honey I wanted while in labor! It is dark, flavorful, and absolutely pure. You can taste the difference between what the Nelsons produce and anything you’d find in a typical store.” — Local Customer
“A little taste of heaven. Their creamed honey is a staple in our house, and knowing it comes from a local family who actually fights for honey purity makes it taste even better.” — From the Daily Nebraskan Feature
For the Beekeeping Community
“Jane and the team are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. As a new beekeeper, I was overwhelmed, but they went out of their way to make sure I had the right gear and the confidence to start my first hive.” — Google Reviewer
“I’ve been getting my bees from Valhalla for years. They are the regional hub for a reason—the quality of the queens and the health of the packages are consistently excellent. Plus, they actually answer the phone when you have a question!” — Long-time Beekeeper
For the Creative Studio
“A hidden gem in Lincoln! I went in for honey and walked out with beautiful supplies for my needlework. Jane’s eye for quality is evident in both the bees and the lace. It’s such a peaceful, creative place to visit.” — Shop Visitor
“The variety of needlework and lace supplies is unmatched in this area. It’s a wonderful contrast to the rugged side of beekeeping—there’s a real respect for craft here.” — Studio Customer
The “Purest” Reputation
“Warren and Jane are the real deal. They don’t just sell you a product; they share their life’s work with you. Their advocacy for honey laws in Nebraska gives me total peace of mind that I’m buying the highest quality honey available.” — Community Member
